A lot of this software is likely to be for Windows, because Linux doesn't usually need much hunting to find something good. On that note I tend to use Fedora for my Linux needs and Windows 7 for playing games and manipulating images.

| 7-Zip | (De)Compression utility with a high compression and good format support |
